Gataling guns and missle turrets dont feel like they can quench my thurst for destruction. I think that Anti tank cannons or just multiple caliber cannons would make a nice new home in space engineers both large grid and small grid :)

Hi could guys make more verity of hand weapons example shutgun ,grenade launcher, energy weapons. Also making them speakable like in Halo. Also a folder ,sub folder system for blueprints so players could organize there blueprints.

I want to suggest that there should be more weapons types like shotguns, snipers, pistols.
More Weapons for ships, smaller small grid gatling turret and dual cockpit?
First off, more weapons seems to be a highly requested feature, I and many others for sure, would love to see a large weapon for bigger ships, as well as maybe an energy weapon that uses high amounts of power, these weapons exist in modern times so should be considered Eg; A large Ship cannon and a Railgun.
The next part is about gatling turrets for small grids, players want to be able to have 2 player controlled smaller ships and currently the base of the turret is ridiculously large and inconveniently shaped, there is no need for it to have a large sized conveyor as the ammo moves through smaller ones. The current shape and size make it impossible to have sleek small ships with a player controlled rear turret such as used on war planes and ships in movies.
My last suggestion is for a small grid dual cockpit, much like some fighter jets have, this would be very nice to have for sleek ships that have player controlled turrets onboard as currently small grid ships need to be very large to have two pilots.
any reply would be very nice and I hope these features are considered as i know the top one and maybe second one are very common talking points in the community.

First, great job with the game. I saw a post on youtube asking for suggestions so I thought I would take the opportunity. I know you are working on many things to include dedicated servers, higher multiplayer capabilities, and higher PCU which will all improve the game highly. Weapons are a large part of multiplayer. Perhaps there could be a few more diverse weapons. Examples include ship cannons, ship lasers, player shotgun, player grenades, player blasters/laser guns, or player throwable shields(like a throwable grenade that deploys a shield when it impacts a surface). Some or all of these weapons would require rare resources or difficult to make components. These suggested weapons and current in-game weapons could also have different ammunition types. Maybe the starting survival rifle has one type of ammo, but the rest could have multiple, such as armor-piercing, explosive, or tracer rounds. Again, thank you so much, you have made a wonderful game that I have enjoyed tremendously,

So as we know there are 2 weapon types of the small craft and 2 on the large craft.
Gatling guns and missile launchers.
Having played multiple Sci fi games and watched a few space engineers series.
I was curious if you could impliment new weapon types.
Examples.
Large ships can have a wide variety of guns.
Cannons, from small to big Bertha status... Like the frigate from halo that's essentially a ship built around a gun.
Secondly battleship type cannons that are turrets and have the 3 barrels ect.
Railguns, take a while to charge but do lots of damage.
Lasers...
Because frickin lasers.
New gatling guns, from the classic to multi barrel, multi mini guns ect
These would works well on small craft as well.
Now... Handheld guns.
We have the standard automatic rifle that's tiered.
We could have a pistol/handgun.
We could have sniper rifles that can zoom.
We could even have a BAZOOKA
Again I'm just putting it here so the devs can consider and or look at it.
Because as much as I love building ships, the weapons aren't fitting well with the interstellar aesthetic.
We can build functional jump drives but not other weapon types.

Sniper ,rpg ,grenade ,grenade launcher ,hand held mini gun ,and flamethrowers. Mabey plasma weapons and a sword or a knife.

I know u guys are busy updating stuff for Xbox and I played since pc, for Xbox I would like to have weapons we all can enjoy and that don't break the game I have a lot of ships I created for Xbox and I just use the same old weapons which we can’t do anything about because we can’t use mods I’m a huge fan of halo and we don’t have the MAC gun like Pc if u guys could just think about that would be great I don’t want to put more stress into u guys

Combat in vanilla SE is pretty, well, it's vanilla. It's bland and boring. We need more flavor. Adding more handheld weapons and fixed guns would be great. A large grid railgun and long range cannons that can shoot further than 800 meters would be amazing. More turrets in general would be good too. Having turbo laser inspired turret would be cool as well as missile pods.

Weapons like a railguns from the expanse, maybe phasers from Star Trek, maybe ion cannons, etc. Also I think we need more stuff to enhance the CIC. Items such as Radar weapon control, just more things to make CIC more realistic.
AA gun or a Mac canon or some type of anti-air guns that u can put on ur base
AA gun would be a big gun u have to place on a sturdy foundation or it will break the blocks underneath it if you don’t And the Mac canon can go on ur big build ships or u can put it on a Sturdy foundation or or add more anti-air guns
More weapon types for ships (ideas included)
Railgun: a block type weapon like the forward facing missile launcher, could be able to launch a large projectile at very high speed to cause massive damage upon impact potentially going through the whole ship (would be very large, only fitting on cruisers and above)
Coilgun: a single barrel rotatable turret version of the railgun but much less powerful, able to target large enemy ships around the host ship, projectile would be able to cut through a few block of armour (would be very large, likely only fit on cruisers and above)
Battleship cannons: much like on WW2 battleships these guns would come in 3 variants, single barrel, double barrel and triple barrel, each would fire projectiles with high explosive shells capable of dealing high damage to enemy armour, the ones with more barrels giving a bigger shell and slower fire rate, while the one with the single barrel could have a small shell but higher fire rate, these would be good for large ships and would only be available on large ships (maybe even a 4 barrelled version for very large ships only)
Point Defence Cannons: dedicated turret for destroying enemy missiles, could have low damage but very high fire rate and high precision for taking out only missiles
Flak turrets: could be like the Point Defence Gun but have a shell that explodes 400m after launch allowing it to hit fighters and missiles alike with area of effect damage
Laser weapons: could be on turrets or forward mounted like the railgun, would bring a sci-fi feel to the game aswell as add a nice looking option to fleet battle weapons, would look and act like Star Wars ship lasers (turbo lasers)
Guided torpedos for large ships: these would be slower moving but deal huge damage, could be shot down by Gatling turrets constant fire
Hope these get added to the game at some point

I think it could be easier for the company to bring over mods from pc to console. All the other ideas left are great. I would like to see enemy añd ally battle, land crafts, small homoids robot's like in star wars. Simple drones commands like patrol, find ore maybe build robots or drones to follow you . Love the game 💟

Hello I was wondering if you could add in guided missiles because I kind of find the regular dumb fire ones boring and pointless so I would really appreciate if you could make guided one as an alternative rather than replacing the other on entirely

So I posted a while back and it was moved to here as well asking for more ship weapons and they added some more that I asked about and love using.
But one weapon type at the moment is currently very basic and I'd like to change that.
Cluster/tracking missiles.
You add a missile launcher block both small and large grid facing any way you wish, one selected and your active weapon you can't fire until a successful lock is established and when fired.
They shoot out and home in on the target.
These would be fast missiles but low damage.
More of a overwhelming type weapon and not pure damage.
For both space, ground and defensive battles these could really be amazing and I know keen as the talent to do it.
Like. Imagine a javelin launcher, fires out, up and tracks the target.
So imagine ships, rovers and stations with that ability.
These would be a longer range weapon being around 1km to 2km targeting distance but again, low damage and they can be shot down if the defences are good enough.
That's personally a suggestion to consider next
