Hi could guys make more verity of hand weapons example shutgun ,grenade launcher, energy weapons. Also making them speakable like in Halo. Also a folder ,sub folder system for blueprints so players could organize there blueprints.

I agree, for game centred around shipbuilding and ship combat it does seem to lack in the options of weaponry - a coolgun (I chosen coilgun as they are less powerful as railguns) or different types of missiles and or torpedoes would be nice.


For example:


Railgun/coilgun:

A long mounted version (doesn't move) and a more powerful, yet shorter range, turret version - very short area of affect but about to penetrate 1 Heavy Armour block and 3 light on blocked.


Missile/torpedo:

Different types:


Penetrating - small area of affect but damages about three blocks deep. Good for if you know the layout of your enemy's ship and able to target key components.


High yield - slow but good against heavy armour.


Explosive - normal in game missiles - good against light armour - faster


'Flack' - large area of affect, low damage, good for taking out conveyors and light armour to cripple the ships weapons systems and damage crewmen or remote controls.

If you're going to add bigger/better weapons for ships then the Defence Shields mod is a must.

well people need some type of defense when not in a ship or in gun to gun combat so therefore some type of suit armor or shield would be nice to have.

we need more weapons, like point defence lazers, railguns anti aircraft turrets, cannons and more

the main gun is pretty powerfull, able to take turrents down plenty fine without any other weapon. With everything except for blocks with Metal Grids in them - everything has low health including the player. Doesn't take much to kill blocks or players.

Adding weapons just adds more to the carry weight limit of a player. Since a players inventory is limited, even maxing it using the load-game advanced editing in xbox and adjusting it to 4k, still when trying to weld items like superconductor or other stuff which takes up HUGE amount of space in inventory; having more weapons just takes more away from the player.

This game was designed to be "unleash your creativity", not pawn players, etc in a PVP deathmatch. If ya want PVP, i suggest FortNight, and other PVP games.

To many weapons of player or base buildable, will only offer more lag and more memory to utilize them and more ammo variety which an get confusing of which ammo goes to what.

what about suit upgrades that could increase health and carry weight so people can carry more items and take more damage so that you can carry heaver items or weapons and the ammo isn't going to be a problem all you need to do is craft all types and then equip the weapon and it is already loaded because manual loading does not exist "yet" because i dont know the plans for the game, and ive seen people who wanted to fight without a ship so more of a weapon would be nice to have. also the ai ships could be buffed later on so that the main gun does not do that much damage.

I think it could be easier for the company to bring over mods from pc to console. All the other ideas left are great. I would like to see enemy añd ally battle, land crafts, small homoids robot's like in star wars. Simple drones commands like patrol, find ore maybe build robots or drones to follow you . Love the game 💟

that could also work it would also be great that if they add scripting to console i have crafts i made that need to have scripts to function but i cant add them to the programable block because scripting is disabled and i don't have a PC to do the things i need for my ships to function.

You could add more weapons with more power of destruction, for example cannons because in the big ships the turrets are small or the missile launchers

So I posted a while back and it was moved to here as well asking for more ship weapons and they added some more that I asked about and love using.


But one weapon type at the moment is currently very basic and I'd like to change that.


Cluster/tracking missiles.


You add a missile launcher block both small and large grid facing any way you wish, one selected and your active weapon you can't fire until a successful lock is established and when fired.


They shoot out and home in on the target.

These would be fast missiles but low damage.

More of a overwhelming type weapon and not pure damage.


For both space, ground and defensive battles these could really be amazing and I know keen as the talent to do it.


Like. Imagine a javelin launcher, fires out, up and tracks the target.

So imagine ships, rovers and stations with that ability.


These would be a longer range weapon being around 1km to 2km targeting distance but again, low damage and they can be shot down if the defences are good enough.


That's personally a suggestion to consider next
