[1.201.013] Game crash on loading screen when joining Keen EU #2

Won't Fix

[WHAT HAPPEND]

I join the server from the "continue" button in the main menu. 2- 2.5 minutes later "Message of the Day" (MOTD) screen came out and I heard classic robot sounds but the loading screen still remains. After 10-15 seconds game crashed


[SPAWN ENVIRONMENT]

a place near the planet with large but few asteroids. We built a mini base inside the asteroid. We have 2 mini miners. I'm getting 60+ fps on our base while in game.


[GAME LAUNCH OPTIONS]

-skipintro


[STEAM LAUNCH OPTIONS] (no effect on game crashing)

-no-browser +open steam://open/minigameslist

[INSTALLED MODS]

- no mods installed


[WHAT I TRIED TO FIX]

- Update Windows- Update All Drivers

- Clear every file about space enginners and reinstall the game

- Clear Steam Download Cache

- Windows Firewall (no effect on game crashing because ı can join other offical servers)


[SYSTEM SPECS]

CPU: Intel Core Quad 6600 2.4GHZ (4 CORE 4 THREAD)

GPU: RX 550 2GB LP OC

RAM: 4GB DDR2 667 MHZ (2+2)

STORAGE : Crucial BX500 240GB

MOTHERBOARD : ASUS P5KPL-AM EPU

OS : Windows 10 PRO

I know my system specs not enough to play this game but it runs at 70-80 FPS on Low - Med graphic settings. I can play singleplayer or with my friend without game crash.

Hello, Sir William!

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. I see you mention you are below the requirements.

We do have a similar thread for this here: https://support.keenswh.com/spaceengineers/pc/topic/25089-crash-to-desktop-on-official-server-join which although is a different server, appears to be the same issue. My colleague has put a number of suggestions in the thread. I appreciate some you have tried.

I note you are using an ASUS piece of hardware, are you running ASUS software of any kind? We have had a number of reports that this can cause issues so please disable this. https://support.keenswh.com/spaceengineers/pc/topic/24394-asus-gamefirst-vi-crashes-any-server-a-user-joins-to

Finally, please can you try removing any filters and joining the server from the normal way instead of via 'continue'?

Thanks for Reply. I am not running any ASUS software. I tried to join server from server list by removing any filter but didnt work. Also, it is not possible for me to try half of the solutions in the other thread you shared because I am not an admin on the official server.


If my friend removes the survival kit from our base for a few minutes, maybe I can spawn again somewhere far away from the astroeid. In this way i can reduce the load on the computer but still not the best solution.(I got the solution from the thread you shared.)

Sorry to hear this has not helped.

If you have tried every thing suggested and this still has not helped, sadly ultimately you do not meet the minimum requirements to run the game which could be causing you the issue. You can find the minimum requirements to run the game on the Steam store page. Due to this, I will close the thread.
