Survival game crashes

Nebula Norseman shared this bug 20 days ago
Need More Information

I've seen few crashes prior todays update, one type of crash is when the game reaches 18GB memory, so memory leak....

But this crash is new and can be seen on my stream (twitch or in youtube) from 2h47m21s you can see a series of the same crash. I end up terminating the stream because survival could not be played from that point. The only way to overcome the crash was to convert the survival game into creative... that resolved the crash issue. Anyway I have a 9 crashdump logs. I'm sending the latest crash that happened after I updated the game to the latest update and also the first game crash on previous version. Thanks

Look forward to your perusal, also look forward to continue showing off your game, just need the game not crashing on the same point, so that to progress the survival stream. Thank you

Kind regards

Could you please provide your Game logs? You can find them here:

  • C:\Users\(your_username)\AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers2\Temp\Logs

Hi Bartosz,

Thank you for your kind message,

I don't seem to have the files with those particular numbers. So, I'm attaching all the log files I have.

As I mentioned on the original msg, I have about 9 crashes all the same/similar place. Please let me know if you need all of the crash files too. Thanks

Also to add, the game update did not resolve the issue, the survival game play still crashes exactly as before. Also to add that after initial game crashes I updated the AMD drivers and the game crashes with up-to-date AMD drivers. Also lowered the game screen resolution to mid level (I had it at max graph settings) and similar crash... hence reporting this bug.

Please let me know if you need anything else. Thank you so much for your assistance.

Hello Nebula Norseman,

We are investigating the crashes on AMD GPUs however, we don't have any ETA at the moment.

We are working with AMD to find a solution for "Device removed" crashes. We are recommending to roll back to previous AMD Drivers until this issue is resolved:

Thank you for your patience.
