Grid wide Block deformation on paste on grid

When pasting a partial copy, a copy, or a blueprint onto an existing grid, swaths of the target grid get damaged/block deformed. As of yet, no blocks have been broken, no major impacts occurred on the platform I use to test this bug.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Place a large plane of blocks, blocks can be free floating or inbeded into voxel (platform used in the example is 2.5m blocks)
2) Place blueprint consisting of a large quantity of blocks, for this example I used this blueprint and pasted in on end:
3) in a radius around the blueprint a wave of block deformation is applied

Narrowed down replication of the issue to partial copies of grid. See attached video for before and after. Seems to happen regardless of mirror or non-mirrored partial copying
Grid copied for the video was built from scratch just prior to video start, not pre-copied / does not include damaged parts copied
Videos do not show however similar damage shows up across the nearly 200,000 PCU grid, on complete opposite ends, in both linear and non-linear paths from the copying spot.
No thrusters have been inside the ship to cause thruster damage

Can confirm that the issue only occurs when a partial copy of something on the grid is then pasted else where. Creating a part on a different grid, then partial copying it to the main grid does not cause the issue.

01FEB25, any partial copy from the grid will corrupt any other grid it is placed on with relative repeatability. Copy and pasting take notably longer with a short freeze before actioning the paste.

Short showcase of instant damage present. Video showcases a "0" taken from the corrupted grid and placed on brand new, separate grid with instant damage occurring. Within ~1 min of doing so the game will crash with the attached error report

Recent updates seem to have curbed the crashing, however corruption / damage still spreads following any and all partial copy and paste

I have not been able to reproduce the issue. The grid is already deformed in both the save and blueprint. When I fix deformed blocks (they are not damaged, they are deformed) they stay fixed for me.
However it reminds me of an older issue. Have you been, by any chance, using the partial copy functionality when creating said grid?

major distortion damages on block but no blocks are actualy destroyed only look damaged , please keen software fix it or at least give us a commandes to repare every block in the world .
uploading creations to the workshop when the blocks are damage will keep then damage ones placed down so this bug destroyes creations .

I was just able to confirm that the distortion and rippling happens when I paste from a partial copy onto the station grid, hope this helps

same thing happening here, To multiple different grids in the same world. PCU limit mod is installed and I have 500k PCU total with over 5 separate grids. It's bizarre.

Sorry, I do not recall if it occurs after pasting other grids/ I know I have copied and pasted sections of the grid during the build, but did not notice if it correlated to pasting afterwards.

There is a known issue were pasting parts of a grid on another grid causes armor deformation. As it is the most likely culprit, I will merge this thread with the main one.

Have you pasted any grids on your builds? There is a known issue where pasting grids (either full or partial, applies to blueprints as well) will cause the blocks on a grid to become deformed.
Please note deformed blocks staying deformed after being copy pasted or placed as a blueprint is intended behavior.
