Won't Fix

Missiles are again ghostfiring when shoot on/once function is enabled.

the previous post was deleted...

https://support.keenswh.com/spaceengineers/general/topic/shoot-on-function-for-turrets-ghost-fire-when-moving

"Hello, After patch 1.193.022 Missiles Turrets acted differently when using manual fire in multiplayer. AI systems do work. If you have a ship with missi"

Now shoot on function works like normal

but the location where the missile spawns from is not updated

Hello,

Unfortunately linked video is private, so it is not possible to check it.

I have tried Rocket Launcher and Missile Turret of the Red Ship both in Single Player and on Dedicated Server, but without successs of reproducing the bug.

Please can you provide a world where the issue can be reproduced? It would help a lot with investigating the bug.

Thank You very much for your feedback and have a nice day :-)

So i made the video public.

New problems have arisen where turrets behave majorly different.

- vanilla turrets have problems detecting players (suits) detection takes from 3 to 30 seconds.

- vanilla turrets dont detect players at all when player is standing/hovering still

- only one turret can track one player at a time. You can have as many as 5 turrets at a given time, but only one will eventually track a player.

- vanilla turrets have absolutely no problem in detecting and targeting grids

A side note: how am i suppose to upload a world where our world size file is above 2Mb? please contact me in how i can exchange files with you.

Hello, Qrahn!

I appreciate this thread is quite old. Is this an issue that still persists for you or has it not happened again? If it is resolved, I will close this thread for you :) The linked thread was resolved in v193

Kind Regards

These problems have not been adressed and a new problem has been added:

Shoot On will fire from a old location. So at location A if shoot on has been pressed with turrets they will fire normally. If player has moved to location B and press shoot on, Missiles will spawn from location A in the same trajectory

Hello, Qrahn!

Thank you for the update. Could you please supply a save where these issues are happening for you? Also, please provide reliable steps for reproducing the issues to help us for reporting purposes :)

  • You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.
  • Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.

Kind Regards

I have left a save file. I have left a valid method of reproduction in the chat above.

Hello, Qrahn!

Is it possible to upload via a different method like Google Drive? It appears the WeTransfer is stuck on 'we're nearly ready' and I am unable to download the file.

Kind Regards

Hello, Engineer!

Because there is no new comment from you, and we are unable to reproduce the issue on our own, I will close this thread now as outdated.

If you or any other player will experience this issue again, please make a new thread and provide all needed info there.

Thank you for understanding.

Kind Regards
