Solved

Hello!

Yesterday I was playing the game without any problems, but today it won't launch at all.

The following didn't help:

- reinstalling the video card drivers

- disabling the integrated graphics

- restarting the computer

- verifying the integrity of the game files

- reinstalling the game

- clearing/deleting the config files and shader caches

- running the game in compatibility mode

- disabling overlays

I hope you can help.

Thank you for reporting this issue.

Could you please check and confirm whether NVIDIA Smooth Motion is enabled on your system?

If it is, please try disabling it and check if the issue persists. NVIDIA Smooth Motion is a relatively new NVIDIA feature and is currently not compatible with Space Engineers 1, which may cause the game to crash.

Please let us know if disabling it resolves the issue for you.

If the game still crashes after disabling NVIDIA Smooth Motion, please send us the latest game log files from the time the crash occurred so we can investigate further.
