Regression in AI Offensive Block?

I'm experiencing the same issue where the ship continues firing after the target has been destroyed.

I too have this issue. From some testing, the Circle/Orbit and Stay-At-Range AI modes have this problem, they can turn the shooting on and off during combat but leave it turned on afterwards.
The Hit-And-Run AI mode seems fine though, it stops firing once its target is gone.
