The game will not move past background process anymore
The game played fine until I went to play it last night and after following literally every bug report I've found on here and on the steam forums, I've noticed you've never fixed this issue for anyone

I will not be attaching my log because that will not help you as it hasn't in ANY of these.
The game will not auto create a CFG file.
the only thing that's changed is there was an update for an OLD version of the game that I've been running which borked it for every version of the game.
My question boils down to since I've done everything you've asked and you've never fixed the issue for anyone I would like to know what we plan on doing. I would like to play the game I paid for but if you've made it so it won't work on my pc anymore I would like you to get me my money back. It's well out of the refund period but I'm not going to let you keep money on something I can no longer access.
EDIT: I would like to note that the only thing I havent done and I'm not doing it is reinstalling my OS. That's literally not happening when this is the only game that doesn't work.

Hello Engineer,
Thank you for reaching out and for sharing the background along with links to previous reports. We understand how frustrating it must be to deal with an issue that prevents you from launching the game, especially after trying so many suggested solutions.
While we understand your concerns about the usefulness of log files, please note that each case can vary depending on hardware, software setup, and other factors. Without a log file, it’s very difficult for us to pinpoint the root cause.
To help us investigate further, could you please answer the following questions:
If it stays running, what happens if you end all Space Engineers and Steam-related processes from Task Manager, then relaunch Steam and the game?
(Check in Steam > Space Engineers > Properties > General > Launch Options)
(To access it, type %APPDATA% in the Windows search bar and you will be redirected to this hidden folder. From there, navigate to the SpaceEngineers folder)
We’d truly appreciate it if you could share the most recent log file from when the issue occurred. This would give us a much clearer picture and help us move toward a solution.
Thank you again for your time and patience.
Kind Regards,

It's every version of the game. It started while I was on an old version of the game through the steam betas tab, specifically the Warfare update, but the issue persists with every version of the game.
The issue more specifically began after what I assume was an update pushed by steam on the old version. (I prefer older versions so things like this don't happen.)
The games executable hangs, often around 33mb of ram usage and doesn't move until I close it.
One of the suggestions I saw was to reinstall the C++ redist, which I did and it didn't change anything.
If I delete the space engineers folder (as described in another thread) it will repopulate everything but the config file.
If I delete just the config file the log will say it can't find one. I've decided to attach every log from my troubleshooting.
I am not normally using custom launch options but I did try the -skipintro option as that had helped someone else with a similar issue.
Unfortunately I doubt these logs are going to help you as in the other reports it didn't help them.

Sorry I had deleted some, heres the full set of logs, enjoy.

Hello Engineer,
Thank you for sharing the log files. As you correctly mentioned, the log does show an error related to missing configuration (config) file.
We understand you’ve already tried deleting the Space Engineers folder and followed other steps in an attempt to resolve the issue. However, the recommended solution in this case is to perform a 'Clean Installation' of the game.
We kindly ask you to follow the steps outlined below even if you’ve tried a similar approach before, just to ensure no step is missed during this process. While we understand how frustrating this issue must be, this clean installation method has successfully resolved the same problem for many other players previously.
To perform a clean installation, please follow these steps:
After completing the above steps, reinstall the game through Steam and check if the issue persists. If the issue is resolved, you can move your Saves and Blueprints folders back to \AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers.
If the issue continues, open Task Manager and 'End Task' all programs related to Space Engineers. Then relaunch the game from Steam. If the game still fails to launch, please send us the latest log file.
