Game crashes to desktop during normal gameplay every 5-20 minutes

I am not running any mods and I haven't overclocked any of my hardware. My system should have no trouble running the game. I haven't recently upgraded anything. I have gone through all the troubleshooting steps recommended. I have reinstalled the game, C++, graphics drivers and messed with my Pci BIOS settings. Please help me fix this. I just wanna build my brick ships in peace.

I have now tried messing with my Nvidia control centre settings, a clean install of the game and messing with the in game settings for grass. None of these have worked. Can anyone help?
