Multiple Crash (AMD)

Solved

GPU Crashes with game.

I was able to mine needed material for welding ship. Went to weld ship and that's when the screen went black.


Had to hard stop computer, then it wouldn't recognize GPU. Had to reinstall drivers.


I attempted this 3 times.


Running Radeon 6700XT

CPU Ryzen 7 2700


Running Game on Medium Graphics.


I uninstalled game for now. Still wanting to play so I went to (Can I Run It) and for some reason the website says that I do not have the right GPU even though the minimum spec is for Radeon 6500.

1 I have the same bug

Could you please provide your Game logs? You can find them here:

  • C:\Users\(your_username)\AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers2\Temp\Logs

They will look like this:

Hello,

So I did go ahead and buy the game again. :)

I checked out another report and the quick fix was to change graphics to Quality instead of performance. It is working pretty good so far and now I've crashed my first ship. :) Here are reports from before.

I'm glad to hear that you enjoy the Game :) So the crash does not occur on current Game version: 2.2.0.1977 with graphics set to Quality for you? If you set it back to Performance, does the Game crash again?

Hey,

I started a new game while set to performance and medium graphics. I was able to make it all the way to Vallation Station and complete the first mission. A few FPS drops from 60 down to low 40's but so far so good. :)
