Small graphical explosion effect that follows me through space
I'm not seeing things, despite what some may think of my nocturnal forum posting habits. However, I have (at times) had a graphical effect of a distant fire in space that appears to follow and remain just ahead and to the right as though a couple hundred meters away. I can rotate to get it directly ahead of me and never catch it and turn away from it.
When it first appeared I had done one of the ship salvage missions with the ship in the shipyard that needed to be scrapped. Several of the blocks were on fire and after dismantling those blocks the effect went away (as expected) but then I picked up this effect as though the engine was still trying to draw the distant fire effect. I'm on a clean load since then (several in fact) but when in space it eventually reappears and just follows me around.

maybe this is related to how occasionally landing and locking on a grid seems to make a phantom copy of it or parts of it still connected when you move?
does it ever randomly explode like a full block would then disapear untill you exit the game then reapear when reloading the game?
