Mitigate 3 planet issue by incorporating

with this feature enabled on keen official servers only, and maybe a toggle between client dedicated servers (server whitelist only, has to be directly toggled between each connected server) that allows players to "jump" their grids(and connected subgrids, with limitation) to a connected server space. Because there can only be 3 planets per server to be stable on xbox, say for example server US #1 home worlds could link to US #1 distant worlds and US #1 distant moons. US #2 servers could link to each other and so on. A caveat to this would be if that player already has pcu in the other server, then they would be limited to whatever remaining pcu is currently available to them THERE. this could also help with people using alt accounts as they could store some of their grids on a server they are more inactive on, but still maintain continuity and not break the game mechanics while still offering xbox and crossplay players a full, space engineers experience.

the title meant to say "mitigate 3 planet issue by using server gates" lol. For some reason the text box cut it off

it would also be interesting to have bounties only available within that "sector" so if you really wanna hunt someone down you have to hop around and explore the other server spaces

rep would also need to apply to each connected server, what happens in one happens in other and same with credit balance

There is a working model that devs can look towards on Embrace the lag and embrace the lag 2. They restarted and have jump gates between them now so it is very much possible

Using this might disincentivize alt accounts altogether as one would have 60,000 pcu between the three servers that they could travel between. Pcu is a hot commodity these days and the official servers are getting broken because we are forced to kind of work out of the bounds to achieve any substantial builds. Couldn't necessarily keep the fleet all in one spot, but that may help with game processing anyways because once a certain amount of pcu is present in one area it just crashes the game for everyone

Sounds like a great idea. Dividing the planets between servers would be a good work around the biome memory issue.

Or be able to make (Jump Gates) like on Babylon 5 to jump between servers..

Because ships don't have the needed power to make that long of a jump

That would be cool.
