Wheels locking up after landing
Saved world where the problem occurs:

The save file is an orbital drop onto Pertam with a rover. After the landing, the wheels have a tendency to lock up & not function correctly (top speed & acceleration severely impaired, steering locks the wheels up almost entirely, also not all the wheels can adjust their suspension height properly).
This does not seem to happen 100% of the time; sometimes the rover will land and the wheels will be fine.
Known fixes that have been found are: Using the Cut/Paste function on the rover, and manually removing the armor blocks that form the mudguards over the wheels.
This leads me to believe that the wheels are somehow clipping into or getting caught up on those armor blocks.
This has also been explored briefly on the steam community forums here:

i have this issue too on game version 1.201.014(current version of game).
for me it seems the wheels apply friction into each other and the main grid. its almost like the hitbox for the friction on the wheels have expanded
my rover uses offroad wheeel suspension 3x3. and is usualy connected on a connector in my rover bay in my ship.
i have encountered this bug in the past too. (past 2 ish years)
could the use of landing gear on the main grid affect the wheels on connected grids?

First of all, please forgive me for using Google Translate as my English is not good.
Similar symptoms were confirmed with ver1.203.024.
I played an engineer in multiplayer with this Blueprint Rover.
When I left it in the Earthlike desert, the wheels were locked.
The conveyor cap near the wheel was stuck, so it was resolved by destroying the conveyor cap.
The symptoms continue until the wheel or conveyor cap is destroyed, and the handbrake has nothing to do with it.

This bug is still persisting and is now occuring to nearly every rover on our Pertam server, rendering them basically unusable
Is there any update on the fix for this?

This issue still exists in various forms. I had a problem using a rover on Earth just after starting the "Never Surrender" scenario. I've created a video:
