Rover's wheels seize up
Reported
In my flight capable rover, published under
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3229147770
the wheels tend to size up when steering after traveling a long distance. The rover then suddenly stops and dips in front, as if the brakes were applied.
How to reproduce:
-Spawn the rover in creative mode
-Drive around try to drive in curves. At this point, the steering works normally or almost normally.
-Drive or fly a long distance (60km+ from the starting point)
-Land, and repeat the driving test. Now you get the problems described above.
Hints on usage: Hotkey One starts the thrusters, HK Three deactivates them, HK Two deactivates only the braking thruster ( good for efficient long range flight),
Hello, Rabiator!
Thank you for writing to us.
Unfortunately, we were unable to reproduce the issue on our end.
Could you kindly help in providing further information about the wheel seize issue you experienced?
Did you experience the issue in a modded world/server (has active MODs)? If so, could you kindly create a new vanilla world (has no active MODS/Scripts) and check if the issue occurred there as well? If not, the issue might have occurred due to MODs.
If the issue persists in the vanilla world as well, kindly send us a screen recording/video showing the issue, and the vanilla world save where the wheel got seized up.
Kind Regards,

I managed to reproduce the issue in a vanilla world:
I used the Earth Planet Scenario from the custom games, in creative mode, and flew to a point where I saved the game (see attachment, Wheel Debug #2.zip).
I also made a video, link to Google Drive. In this you can see the rover driving and occasionally almost falling over its front wheels. I did not use the brakes to generate this effect, it happens when steering.
After this test, I left the world and then reloaded it from the main menu with "Continue game". After that, the problem was gone. It reappeared, however, when I flew the rover back to the starting point, landed there and tried driving around again. The starting point is available via GPS.
From my modest experience with software development, this suggests some kind of rounding error that accumulates during game play and is implicitly reset on leaving and restarting the game.
