The game doesn't load (sometimes) and gets stuck in a perpetual loading screen on Xbox one

This seems to have something to do with the "continue game" button in the main menu to me, as I tried to press that to load into an old save with a few grids, (nothing very big, and there's no asteroids,) and it didn't work. I tried a couple more times, having to manually shutdown the game each time, and one time, the continue game button didn't show up. I went into the load menu and selected my world, and it loaded up almost instantly. I just hope this doesn't happen again, or else I'll have to never leave my world in fear of not being able to get back in again.
