Persistent lag spikes after 5-10 minutes of gameplay

Hello!

I recently got a new PC (Dell XPS 15 9650) with an Intel i7 processor, NVIDIA GTX 1050 graphics card, 32 GB of DRAM as well as 4 GB ti RAM on the graphics card and a native screen res of 3840x2160. With these high specifications I should be able to run space engineers on medium to high settings, however whenever I play it, on Experimental mode or not, I play for about 5-10 minutes and encounter huge lag spikes. Before the lag spikes, the game runs at around 40-50 FPS on LOW settings, which is quite a lot lower than it should be even on medium to high, and then during the lag spikes it drops to around 2 FPS. Changing the graphics settings does nothing, and I have tried running the game at both native res as well as 1920x1080 with the same result in both scenarios. I have attached the game log from the most recent episode of this problem. The things I have tried to remedy it are as follows: adjust graphics and game settings, force space engineers to run on the NVIDIA card through the OS as well as in-game, verify local game files to check for corrupt files, and finally uninstalling and reinstalling to try to get rid of bugged files. Nothing has worked, and I continue to see the problem persist whenever I play the game. I love space engineers, and would love for this problem to be resolved ASAP. Thank you for reading!
