Minor Bug-Rotating Lights_Turned off

Dakoda Hunter Barton shared this bug 4 years ago
Won't Fix

I was able to easily reproduce this. When you turn off the new rotating lights, their light fixture graphically fixes themselves into space where ever you turned them off at, uninteractable, their hitboxes and the base of the light stay on the ship however and easily fixed by turning them back on. The lights will just teleport back into place working properly again. I'm playing on Windows 10 PC.

Hello Dakoda!

I appreciate this thread is quite old. Does this issue still persist in the latest version of 197.170 for you? I have just tested them and believe they are working as intended however, if I am missing something please let me know :)

I just saw it last weekend when one of our mining ships had their spinning warning light "turned off", and my brother flew off in it... the spinning top was still at the landing bay. I asked him to turn the light on, and then I saw the top at the landing bay go flying off toward the horizon where he was out mining. Kind of funny bug.

Hello!

Thank you for the update. Do you happen to have a save where this is happening? I was unable to reproduce the issue when testing it. Has this only happened to you in a multiplayer setting?

Kind Regards

For us, it only happened in multiplayer. No save to provide, as it was many hours of play ago. To me, it just seemed like yet another server-client desync issue, and shrugged it off :) Too minor to report at the time, then I saw this thread and thought I would add.

Hello, Frigidman!

Thank you for the update. As the original user has not mentioned if it is still an issue for them and you experienced this some time ago, I will close this. If you or the original user come across this again and are able to provide a save file for us to reproduce the issue. Please do not hesitate to let us know :)

Kind Regards
