Heavy Industry Update : Programable Block
Won't Fix
Hi there, I have added a youtube video to show what I am trying to explain.
I have enjoyed this game for a few years now, so thanks for that for a start, but I am unable to use the programmable block and it's scripts.
I am unable to to select check cancel or ok the main UI after clicking on the programable blocks script editor. The editor can be used, but nothing else.
I have to press ESC to fall back a menu, but we all know that. :D
Oh, Video, sorry!
Again, thanks for the great game.
I do not have all the DLC, but I give what I can.
Hello, Thomas,
sorry to hear that you are experiencing this.
We had same/similar thread about this issue already but it looks like it was sorted out with the 199 update.
There is actually a workaround when this happen to you:
"If you press and hold one mouse button on a button, then click the other MB, focus is removed from the textbox and the buttons work again normally (as well as the Escape key). It doesn't matter if you go RMB to LMB or LMB to RMB."
Please try this workaround, and let me know if that works for you as well.
Since we didn´t manage to properly reproduce it on our side, the fix was done from the sole code, without any repro steps. So this might be the reason why it keeps happening to some.
If it will keep happening to you, and it won´t be just a single-time thing, can you try to verify the game data on Steam (SE - right click - Properties - Local files - Verify integrity of game files)?
If this won´t help you, please navigate to your Roaming folder (by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected there), follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers, back this folder up (so you won´t lose you save game, blueprints and such) and delete it.
Once you run SE again, this folder will be created anew with all the fresh files and configs.
If you will find any more information, ideally some decent steps to reproduce, that would be the best!
Thanks in advance for you reply.
Kind Regards
