Graphic crash - game crash

Last Raven shared this bug 2 years ago
Solved

How I explain this, maybe not the first person who say this but since the last update many PCs with low spcs like mine stop be able tp play the game. Soo far me and many was able to play, I like your work, your game and I buy all the amazing DLCs, but if this keep going, we are going to lose this amazing community. I leave my specs here for u to analise. Hope we can play again...

Hello, Last Raven,

thanks for letting us know about your concern. Can I please ask what exactly is your problem, though? Is the game crashing for you, or it won´t start at all?

If the game is crashing, can I please ask for a log file?

You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.

From there please share here the most recent SpaceEngineers and VRageRender text files.

If you can´t run the game at all, can you share the log using the Windows event viewer?

Thanks in advance.

Kind Regards

Me and may update our drives, check our PCs, e did all and still crash, and I´m talikng about notebooks, PCs ith low specs like MX110. We try some PCs, good and medium PCs (diferent drives and stuff) and crash.

Hello, Last Raven,

thanks for the logs and screens. Unfortunately, none of your graphic cards is meeting the minimum requirements in order to play the game, thus we can not guarantee it will run smoothly or at all.

You can try to change your graphic card that is running the game from nvidia to intel or vice versa... the second GPU might be able to run the game and you might be able to get to Main menu in order to lower the graphic details. That might help.

Unfortunately, I can not help you more right now. Wish I could.

Kind Regards

Once I connect to the server gonnna let it run a bit then give results

Great! So you found... bit different way how to solve it but still... at the end of the day, the fact that it is working is what matters!

Hello, Raven,

from the text in the original body of this thread and from log as well, you have two graphic cards on you laptop (Intel® UHD Graphics 620 and NVIDIA GeForce MX110).

Users are allowed to choose which GPU is going to be used with which program. So you can try to change the Nvidia card (that I suppose the game is trying to use) for the Intel one (or vice versa).

This process is however highly dependent on you PC manufacturer and varies a lot, so I can not give you one exact way how to do in on your PC, in your environment. I suggest you look online, use google, find how to do it on you PC.

Kind Regards
