Game freezes when joining server

Won't Fix

Before welcome message shows, game freezes and i cant exit it.

All files are there, i just validated.

I also deleted any downloaded files and mods.

No problems joining on another computer.


Problem seems to be getting worse. I was able to play after 2nd try but now i cant. Log says files are missing but its not true, validation would have spotted them.


I do how ever have 11 video files removed on purpose, to skip all the intro videos i dont want to see. Game works fine without them.

Hello, Tony!

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. Can you please supply a copy of the Space Engineers log rather than the VRage one? It's located in the same place. That should give a little more information for us :)

Additional detail.

I was able to start the game and connect without a single glitch.

After i closed the game and started it again, at the welcome message game froze and quit by its self.

I had deleted all cache and temporary files including mods before connecting to the server.

I have 4-6 favorite servers at most.

Thank you for the log. I see you also have a thread here https://support.keenswh.com/spaceengineers/pc/topic/game-crashing-network do you think the two are related or in part the same issue?

I dont know.

Sometimes network crashes before i am able to find my server. And if i find it, game freezes when i join.

Log i attached was not log created when game froze, it was created when network crashed so it will not have all other details.

I am trying to get the game to freeze again but its not freezing for what ever reason. I have not changed anything, drivers or update or hardware or even new software. All remain the same and game behaves differently.

Hopefully today i will get the log when game froze up or crashed.
