Exception in render!

Won't Fix

My game will often crash while simply being afk.

Not moving, not doing anything, just in the control panel watching ore being refined.

I have confirmed that my GPU's (2 GTX 1080 in SLI) are not overclocked, or overheating, I have ran a benchmarking and they are both perfectly fine. All other games can run at equivalent resolution and detail without issue.

I have no mods.

PC Specs:

i7-4790k, 32 Gb of RAM, 2 GTX 1080.

I have tried to re-install GPU drivers (use DDU and re-install), made sure windows is all up to date.

It sometimes works fine for 30-45 minutes between crashes, but other times it crashes after 5 minutes of the previous crash. I've tried modifying video settings to lower details but that doesn't change anything.

I don't know what else to do. it never use to do this until I got back into playing the game recently (in the last week)
