Hello, Daniel!

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. There have been a few reports of this that have been fixed by the user or it has suddenly started working again. I would check out this thread https://support.keenswh.com/spaceengineers/pc/topic/steam-error-accessing-service for a few possible ideas.

I also recommend doing the following as these can fix a wide array of issues:

  • Verify your game files in Steam
  • Right click on Space Engineers in Steam Library → Properties → Local Files → Verify Integrity of Game Files

/bfSnH0rGoN-NgctSWBJN3LfvWZvgnfye9BrPgucxV0n8TDpNc-7yZYwSifdRXyl1quu20KGUNmHzSf6VGRbhWS4a_EYn2MclxJSOz6eVarmz-fhTWVaofVOAVZN_l_leF9dgQ5GF

  • Delete SpaceEngineers.cfg file
  • It means your game configuration will be deleted
  • You can access your SpaceEngineers.cfg by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.
  • Delete ShaderCache folder
  • Back up your whole Space Engineers Roaming folder and delete it
  • Restart Steam
  • Reinstall the game
  • Make sure your operating system is fully updated

i already deleted the .cfg file in order to try to fix it, also verified the game many times and reinstalled the game. and i did also remove the shadercache folder. this all didnt work before!

Hello, Daniel!

Is it possible that you can please attach an example blueprint that you're trying to upload? I'll see if I am able to upload it from my side. This way we will can find out if there is any issue with the blueprint itself.

You can access your blueprints files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Blueprints. Select the correct folder where your blueprint is saved (local or cloud), zip the file and attach it here.

I appreciate you have tried some of the steps but we would certainly recommend trying all of them first too.

ive attached 2 the blueprints which i made lately, both are not uploadable!

Hello, Daniel!

Thank you for the blueprints. I am getting a notice about modded blocks in these. Do you happen to have an issue uploading all blueprints? Are you able to test this on something simple with no modded blocks to see if this also causes you an issue?

i tested it in a world with zero mods. but i still get the same issue

photo

Hello, Daniel!

Could you try a non-modded blueprint to upload (no modded blocks) just to see if this causes an issue at all?

i sayed i tested what u sayed in a world with zero mods. i tryd uploading a blueprint without any mods doesnt work.

photo

so why havent i gotten any response, this is getting annoying

photo

and also everytime i get a response the ticket status changes to closed while the problem isnt solved yet. i find that that is very stupid/ the ticket can only be closed if the problem is solved or if the conversation has formally ended. which both arent the case in this instance

Hello, Daniel!

Sorry to hear you're still facing troubles with this. Thank you for testing a blueprint without any modded blocks.

Could you please supply a log file from when you face this issue?

  • You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.

here is a log file from 23-1-2022 i have more log files in there but this is the biggest. if you need more just ask

photo

Hello, Daniel!

Thank you for this. As you mention you have other logs, can you please post one without the use of any mods causing the same issue? Just so we can double-check one without them.

there are also some VrageRender text documents(logs) in there if you need those

Hello, Daniel!

Thank you for these. It looks like every single log has some form of mods in there.

Could you please do the following?

  1. Create a brand new world without any mods at all, all of them removed.
  2. Try and blueprint something like a couple of armor blocks and attempt to upload this (no modded blocks in the blueprint either)
  3. Please then provide a log from doing this if it causes an error.

you mean remove all logfiles first or what?

photo

well i did try the new world and this is the associated log file!

photo

Hello, Daniel!

No, log files don't need to be removed :)

All of our tests need to be without any mods in the world. I also want to see in this instance if having no mods in the world and not having any modded blocks in a brand new blueprint causes the same issue.

If it does not cause an issue, we can determine if it is a modded block on the blueprint, a mod in the actual world or, neither of these :)

Hello, Daniel!

I have been speaking with a colleague about this.

Are you able to try uploading on a different PC but with the same Steam ID? If this is possible, it would be great to try to see if you have no issues with the second PC.

If you didn't delete the whole appdata folder, could you please try this? Make sure to back it up first. Can you also fully uninstall and then re-install Steam. Please let me know how you get on after you have taken these steps.

do i need to back up the entire appdata (including the local, localow and roaming and everything whats inside there?) or only the folder space engineers in roaming?

photo

Hello, Daniel!

Thank you for confirming.

Can you please supply a new log from the current version of the game? (As there has recently been an update) Again, this will require zero mods in-game. Please try to upload a blueprint, allow the error, back out and send us the log.

Kind Regards

Hello, Daniel!

Thank you for the log. We have had a look through this and although we have tried to offer a solution, as we do not support Windows 11 yet unfortunately we will have to close this as 'won't fix' As stated on our Steam store page, the requirement is Windows 10. Sorry that none of the solutions have worked for you.

I had a similar issue: My Space Engineers was saved on a different drive than where Steam (and %Appdata%) was saved.

If I ran SE in Admin mode, it would then work.
