Keyboard stops all input

So ive put a solid 12 hours into trying to troubleshoot this, so whats happening is any time i use a non movement key such as Shift, Control, the F keys, etc it completely disables my keyboard for everything involing Space Engineers. i have noticed after binding my pause menu to my mouse key that it causes the same issue but still allows me to use my mouse. i have followed the troubleshooting solution for keyboard not working and it did not fix the issue. the issue persists even after making a new world, several validations, and 2-3 fresh installs of Space engineers. i have attached the most recent logs, and thank you for any assistance.
