XBOX Controller Triggers stopped working

Hi there,
I have a Gamesir XBOX controller (USB wired) which I've been using fine, but the triggers stopped working after a recent Win11 small update. The mouse buttons control the game fine, but the controller triggers refuse to work. I've tried resetting the USB controller panel in windows, deleting the game controller entries in Device manager also deleted and reinstalled the drivers for the unit. Not sure where to go from here. Any help would be much appreciated.
