Hinge get stuck when reaches upper limit
Investigating
Hello,
I would like to report a supposed bug, when hinge moving with arm of custom turret gets stuck, after it reaches the set up upper limit (no matter how). You have to increase the limit to make it working. It's given by the enormous weight of the lever, since lighter grids don't do that. But if it is too heavy, it shouldn't move at all, I guess. I have the same bug
Hello Michal,
Thank you for reaching out on the forum and for reporting this issue.
Based on the video you shared, this appears to be the same issue we have already reported internally.
To confirm and reproduce the issue on our end, could you please share the blueprint or the world save where the issue occurs? We would also greatly appreciate it if you could include the exact steps needed to trigger the issue using the provided files.
Thank you for your understanding.
Kind regards,

Hello,
blueprint and world save are attached.
Exact steps to reproduce the issue:
1. Place the blueprint in your world (possibly in right orientation and aligned with planet gravity). Not tested in space and low gravity environment (Moon for example).
2. Get the hinge of the turret to its upper limit by any means. Either by setting it to move or by manual control using Custom Turret Controler block. Optionally you can set the hinge to move towards its upper limit, set the braking torque to zero (or any low value) and turn it off. Turret will freefall and stops at the value of its limit.
3. By that point it's impossible to move the hinge unless you increase its upper limit.
Sometimes it gets stuck even at its lower limit (aiming straight up), but not everytime, thus I can't provide you with exact instructions.
PS: Merry Christmas :-)
