[207.021] Audio Bug - LG Remote Control on Sub-Grid with Suspension Causes Audio Issues

Need More Information

Placing Large Grid Remote Control Blocks on the same sub-grid as a Suspension Block seems to be causing over lapping audio issues.

It appears to be generating the sound of the Suspension Block directly from the Control Seat as if they were directly next to each other.

It also appears to be doing the same thing to the Thrusters idle sounds, which are attached to the main grid, not the sub-grids with the Remote Control.

For every extra Remote/Suspension sub-grid the issue is multiplied and the volume increases.

Building a LG grid spider mech with 8 legs is causing my audio output to redline and become deafeningly loud.

The audio problems persist even with the games audio settings set to Realistic.

In a low atmosphere environment everything else sounds softer as it should do (tools, placing blocks, etc) except for the overlapping audio bugs which sound no different and just a loud and clear as before.

The videos below have been recorded with the Realistic sound settings to emphasise how the bug is ignoring audio settings altogether.

Hello Engineer,

Thank you for your patience. It has been some time since this issue was originally reported, and several game updates have been released since then.

At the time, we were unable to reliably reproduce the issue on our side. To ensure the issue hasn’t already been resolved in one of the recent patches, could you please update the game to the latest version (1.208) and check if the issue still occurs?

If the issue persists, please share any additional details you may have (such as logs, a save file, steps to reproduce, or a screen recording/video showing the issue). This will help us re-investigate the report and move it forward.

Thank you for your understanding, and we appreciate your help in improving the game.

Kind regards,

Keen Software House: QA Department
