gyroscopes do not work as intended
hello
i noticed on the official servers too, but generally (i can not recall other scenario than the official server, but maybe in single player too) that gyroscopes rotate the ship slightly randomly during the ship is traveling in a straight line, and when i have turned on gyroscope override, or while i am holding alt to look around it does not happen.
also when the gyroscopes are not very strong for the ship sometimes it is very hard to rotate the ship not because the gyroscopes are weak, but because without holding alt to look around at the end of the rotation, the gyroscopes align the ship back to its original orientation - i noticed this to small grid vehicles.
the latter one is extremely annoying, and for the earlier one i can sort of turn on the gyroscope override as a workaround, but that is still very annoying
i know it is not my mouse because small grid vehicles are aligning back to their original orientation with quiet big range of motion - way bigger than my mouse can move that time - like 45-90 degrees, and because i tried it with lifting my mouse too. i also know that it is not my mouse because this aligning back force is greater than my mouse movement can excert (much greater, much more frustrating)
also small grid vehicles often rotate themselves back to their original orientation even if arrows are used on the keyboard - this back orientation does not happen when i start to hold alt the same (right after i complete my orientation - in case i can complete my orientation since this counter force is taking my ship's orientation back)
i am playing full vanilla space engineers
i found powerloss of prorotech gyroscopes reported here:
https://support.keenswh.com/spaceengineers/pc/topic/47583-gyroscope-roll-wird-behavior
despite the fact that i noticed this in the official server, and despite the fact that it does not have anything to do to relogging, and despite the fact that the issue in my report regards all aces, not just one, and it is about random movement (in case of large grid), and counter movement (in case of small grid) of gyroscopes - i still have the gist of a related issue is happening in that case

also this one seems very eager to be the same issue:
https://support.keenswh.com/spaceengineers/pc/topic/gyroscope-causes-shake
this "shaking" he experiences possibly make the large grid vehicles to pick a random direction to rotate to.
for small grid i don't just expereience the random orientation change, i experience that when the gyroscope is slightly under powered to turn the ship, the ship is just rotating back to the original orientation unless alt is hit at the end of the orientation

so found this:
https://support.keenswh.com/spaceengineers/pc/topic/ship-with-less-gyroscopes-causes-rubberbanding
this seems to be the exact issue, except the person reporting it did not find out that by pressing alt button at the end the rubberbanding ceases
he also did not notice the slight random movements gyroscopes do

also i forgot to mention in what scenario that "random adjustment" happens according to "personal opinion of gyroscopes" - well it happens not when the player uses the mouse, or keyboard to rotate the ship, but when just casually accelerating towards something in i guess any general direction - as i am noticing it during mining too, and due to the shape of the mining ship it is crucial to make it go forward into the same direction - that is impossible without gyroscope overrides due to these random adjustments while accelerating, or slightly after accelerating the ship
it does not happen always, it is quiet random, somewhat uncommon, but when it happens it is annoying
it happens not only during mining, but generally even in the middle of space marching towards something, or even in planetary gravity fields - that makes it annoying to target exact escape route from the gravity field - as it is near impossible to do without gyroscope overrides as the issue happens frequently enough during take off (given that the player intends to preserve fuel not holding "space" continously)
