Unable to weld blocks on a pasted grid
When I paste in my blueprint which contains a tram tunnel(large grid) that also has the tram(small grid) merged to the grid and then I unmerge the tram and try and weld the corridor blocks that make up the tram tunnel it will not weld the blocks, well it will weld them if they are already placed but the projector wont place them, but I'm able to place the block manually in the space (illustrating is not a hitbox issue). If I take the same tram and run it down an identical tunnel that was placed manually the projector is able to place and weld all blocks without issue.
To me it seems like even after unmerging the tram from the static grid the projector sees the tram as part of its grid and wont let the block be placed because of it occupies the same block. This persists even if the grid name on both structures is changed so its not a grid name issue. It also persists if you make the structure dynamic instead of static. I can paste in the tram and tunnel in separately and they will interact properly, but if they are merged together at time of paste then they do not interact.

Attached world demo's this same scenario. A few mods are enabled but none that should affect any of these functions.
I can paste in the tram and tunnel in separately and they will interact properly,
On further investigation this is incorrect. Even if i paste in a tram, then paste in a new copy of the blueprint to use its tunnel they still don't work together. I also wasn't able to replicate this issue on a new grid so I'm not so sure that its even related to copy and pasted grids anymore. Updated world has a few more examples. The new grid can merge the cart and be copy and pasted unmerged and weld just fine. Seems to be linked to the mother grid some how, I've included the full blueprint for the mother grid as well.

Hello Travis,
Thank you for writing to us.
Could you please provide more information about the issue you're experiencing?
Have you checked whether the issue persists when you paste the blueprint of the 'mother grid' into a vanilla world (with no active MODs or Scripts)? If not, try creating a new vanilla world and pasting the blueprint of the grid there to see if the issue continues. If the issue does not occur in the vanilla world, then it is likely caused by the MODs or Scripts in your current modded world.
If the issue persists in the vanilla world as well, please share with us a screen recording/video of the issue, along with the vanilla world save file or the blueprint of the 'mother grid.'
Kind Regards,
