disabled jetpack causes free slide

When you play in a world with a disabled jetpack, you will sometimes enter the free slide animation, and get stuck in it, unable to do anything but die and respawn.
STR:
1. Enter any world with jetpack disabled. First Jump works.
2. Jump.
3. While in the air, press X
4. Get stuck in the sliding state until you respawn.
I have the same bug
Under the same conditions the same problem occurs when you leave any seat if you jumped in order to get into it.

It seems this is the same issue as reported on this thread. This issue generally occurs in worlds/scenarios where the Jetpack is disabled by default, such as Lost Colony or Scrap Race.
