"Show on HUD" marker positions go missing w/ lack of pilot seat

I am having an issue where enable "Show on HUD" map markers go missing while not having a pilot seat placed on the grid. I noticed first when I deleted my pilot seat I no-longer-needed and then saved then reloaded; none would show up. Only until I place a pilot seat down and delete it again, do they finally appear once more. Saving and reloading causes them to vanish again. Enabling and disabling suit broadcasting, antenna broadcasting, or disable/enable the "Show on HUD" options do nothing at all - Only placing a new pilot seat fixes the issue.
