Railgun projectiles will phase through many layers of armor on the ship they are built into.

I don't know if this is actually a bug or a feature, but as the title says, you can stack multiple layers of armor in front of the railguns and they will fire right through them without damaging them. Normally I wouldn't report this but it seems to be causing some toxic behavior in the community. People insisting that this is the only correct way to build ships and gatekeeping/harassing casual players.
