Can't start game

Solved

Hello.

Haven't played space engineers in a long time so reinstalled the game from steam today.

I launch the game and quickly the game window appears, but an error comes up saying "Please apply windows updates and update to latest graphics drivers." . .But i do not have any windows update available and the graphichs its most recent. DirectX looks good.

Game just refuses to start..

I attach the error and some data form my pc.. and Log of the game.

thanks for letting us know about your issue and we are sorry to hear that you are experiencing it.

Please try these workarounds/fixes on your end so we can get better (and hopefully cleaner) log, as you have whole bunch of errors, exceptions and such in there and I'm not able to distinguish the one that is leading towards your issue.

Verify your game files in Steam – right click on Space Engineers in Steam Library → Properties → Local Files → Verify Integrity of Game Files
Delete SpaceEngineers.cfg file (it means your game configuration will be deleted) – you can access your SpaceEngineers.cfg by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.
Delete ShaderCache folder – same access as above
Back up your whole Space Engineers Roaming folder and delete it
Restart Steam
Reinstall VC Redist 2017
Reinstall the game – please make sure that you actuallyperform clean install of the game. Check both folders with the game (the Roaming one and the one in Steam as well) and make sure that after uninstalling, there is nothing left. If yes, delete the leftovers. Restart your PC and try to intall the game anew.
Make sure your operating system is fully updated – my last Win version is currently 10.0, Build 19044 so it might be worth to check again.

If nothing from above works and you still won't be able to run the game, please send me new log.

Hello!

Thanks for your help!

-I verify game files in Steam but nothing changes.

- Delete the SpaceEngineers.cfg and ShaderCache file but nothing changes.

- I Delete the whole folder en appdata, and verify files again. .. This time Steam re-download a lot of files.

- Launch de game and works!

The issue is fix now! ..
