{player_count} not returning true value

Hello,

I have a Space Engineers DS running on my pc at home. In the DS GUI I set the Message Of The Day to say something like "{player_count} of 4 players online"

It's my understanding that this is supposed to reflect how many players are currently on the server. It's not returning this value however. For example, it's stating "16 out of 4 players online" when it's just my buddy logged in and no one else.

Notes:

-I know that this {player_count} variable in the DS GUI references the getOnlinePlayerCount() function in the source.

-My player count is capped at 4.

-The GUI reflects correctly in the graph as to how many players are online.

-It worked right for maybe the first 3 days of the server running.

I have attached my server file for reference.
