[BUG REPORT public test steam branch frostbite scenario] SE-1.200.032 bomber not moving

Sebastien Nouira Huet shared this bug 3 years ago
Reported

On the frostbite scenario, when you reach the old mining base, bombers spawn at more than 800 meters, looking toward the mining base but don't move unless you get really close to them.

I've tried doing the scenario again, and it did it again, even tho I would love to get bombarded with warheads.

The old mining base is near the start of the scenario so it's easy to reproduce.

Hello, Sebastien!

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. I have been trying to reproduce the issue and each attempt, the bombers move straight away. Is it possible you could supply a save file where you're experiencing the issue? I appreciate you said it should be easy to reproduce but for me, it is not happening how you explain it. Is this something you feel has changed recently or, simply the first time playing it and noticed it? :)

  • You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.
  • Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.

Kind Regards

Here it is,

I've created a new game, got to the old mining base with the modified rover after doing some parts of the scenario, and now I see a bomber in the distance looking at me without moving even when I'm at 700m of him.

Kind regards,

Sébastien

Hello, Sebastien!

Thank you so much for the save file! I have reproduced the issue in both the save you provided and also again in games I have created. It seems that bomber in particular will not move or attack each time I try it!

I have reported this internally.

Kind Regards
