[1.200.029] Turrets Fail To Target Locked Grids
Submitted
Randomly, though much more apparent on planets, using target lock to target grids far away might sometimes make the turrets fail to target at all. As opposed to this bug: https://support.keenswh.com/spaceengineers/pc/topic/22714-1-200-turrets-dont-target-unless-manually-forced, here the turrets do not even generate a target and so manully firing them has no effect. Even if the turrets are within ai targetting range, by forcing a lock on them they might not find a target if this bug is present.
Edit: It seems to happen only with grids pasted by other users.

Found a ship that displays the required behaviour. If this ship is being target-locked, then turrets will be unable to generate a target.

Edit 2: The bug's randomness was never disputed, seeing as the same tests carried out at different times gave different results. However, the bug's entrance seems to be heavily influenced by the target grid possessing subgrids, as such often could block the target generation even if later tests proved it was possible despite the circumstances.

Still happening in the newest update (1.201) with similarly observable behaviour, the primary component of which are subgrid(s) being present on the target grid.
