Can not relink local Blueprint to Steam workshop SE1
I recently purchased a new computer, I copied all the SE1 files from the old computer to the new computer, and everything looked correct, except that I am unable to update my steam workshop blueprints. clicking "publish" just creates a new copy instead of updating the old one.
I tried editing the bp.spc file of the local copy of one of my blueprints to set the workshop ID back to the correct Steam version, however, each time I load se1 and load a game, the workshop ID changes back and it just uploads a new copy.
The ship I attempted this with is "The Rescue Carrier Athina"
I changed the lines :
<WorkshopId>0</WorkshopId>
<WorkshopIds>
<WorkshopId>
<Id>3492366328</Id>
<ServiceName>Steam</ServiceName>
</WorkshopId>
</WorkshopIds>
changing "3492366328" to "1852234239", the ID of the steam copy, but it keeps changing back., I also tried changing the "0" but it also keeps changing back to 0.
any suggestions on how I can re-link my local copies to the steam workshop copies so I can update them without creating a new upload?
hello!
i do not think a "steam id" should change only due to you changing pc, but maybe try to compare a blueprint made on your new computer against a blueprint made on your old computer, and check if the "steam id" is the same too. honestly the devs could place any id there, and name it "steam id" regardless of what is it.
