dampener drift
Need More Information
I have a moon base grid with a rover and a miner connected to it and after undocking, dampeners don't function properly in environments with gravity. This issue also renders the vehicle unable to fly upwards, usually leading to a crash.
in the posted video I am continually holding spacebar to go upwards, but it doesn't work until after I crash. You can see the animation for the thrusters not activate until after crashing.

I have the same bug
This might actually be a system working as intended: I think your thrusters are starving for hydrogen.
I noticed that after you crashed your lifting thrusters weren't at full power, but you were clearly holding the spacebar to go up. with dampeners on and a limited supply of hydrogen, I have found my engines can starve if I make a lot of inputs.
What's confusing that is your UI reports full hydrogen. My guess is you need to turn your tanks off of stockpile after disconnecting, or you have a conveyor routing issue somehow.

Hello Engineer,
Thank you for reaching out to us on the forum, and we sincerely apologize for the delayed response to this thread.
Since this is an older issue, could you please confirm if it has been resolved in the meantime, or if it still occurs in the current version of the game?
If the issue still persists, could you let us know whether it happens on a modded world/server (with active MODs) or on an unmodded one?
If it occurs in a modded world/server, please create a blueprint of the affected grid and paste it into a new vanilla/unmodded world to check if the issue still occurs there.
If it does, please send us the vanilla world save file along with a screen recording/video showing the issue.
Kind regards,
Keen Software House: QA Department
