SG Assault turret targeting camera crosshair is too high

error 404 shared this bug 7 months ago
Reported

When manually operating a SG assault turret at a close distance target (virtually point blank) shots hit 2-3 SG blocks lower than expected. Pic 1.

The point of view should be on targeting camera on the turret (if that is it). It is in fact much higher.

If you look out the camera on the turret, and move yourself in the position of the said camera in spectator view the positions are way off. Pic 3.

Hello engineer,

Thank you for reaching out to us on the forum, and please accept our sincere apologies for the delayed response.

We appreciate you sharing the screenshots, but to better understand the issues, could you let us know whether it occurred in a single-player world or in a multiplayer lobby/server?

If it happened in multiplayer, were you the host or a client?

If possible, we would also greatly appreciate it if you could provide a short screen recording/video showing the issues in action. This will help us investigate more effectively.

Kind regards,

Keen Software House: QA Department

Hi.

I don't think i need to make a video or a documentary on the matter.

-Build a turret.

-Put a target close to it

-control it from a cockpit

-shoot

-shot lands lower than expected, if you expect it to hit where the cross is.

I could only wish you guys some day add zeroing like IRL or like most other games have.
