Random encounter ships do not move unless within combat range.

Most encounter ships do not move once spawned in, only ships that I have been within range are the ones that move, often still not moving away and despawning afterwards. This results in the HUD being swarmed with signals. When going to investigate a ship, there is no expiry time shown like with the Factorum encounters which leads me to believe that they won't despawn after 2 hours.

Same issue here, ships spawn in and don't move an inch unless you engage them, I'm having to delete them with the Admin menu as they never despawn.

Are you guys using MES? Because I and some others have had the same issue until I disabled MES. Seems to be a compatibility issue at the moment and should be reported to the MES discord.

No, I don't have MES, had to look it up on the workshop because I didn't know what it was lol.

Funnily enough, the encounters in my save worked fine for a few hours after disabling MES but have since stopped spawning entirely.

I also have the same issue, I'm having to delete ships with the Admin menu.

I have tried this with and without MES the results are the same. Mods don't seem to change anything.
