[Small Grid] Large Hydrogen Thruster Collision Mesh bigger than its model

Small grid Large thruster block's collision mesh is so big that it cant be placed if another of the same type is in close proximity even if it looks as tho it should easily fit (when subgridded)
How to recreate:
Place a rotor at 45 degree angle
Place down 1 thruster on main grid, and another on the 45 degree angle in close proximity
