Sitting down triggers sensors from a farther distance
Solved
As the title states by placing a couch or control station close to, but not intercepting a sensor range, the act of sitting in the seat causes the character to create a larger collision box? and then sets off the sensor. I am unsure as to how much larger the sensor collision box increases on the character, but I am willing to guess that it's something like 2 to 3 times larger.
I found this bug by creating a back to back sliding door airlock with sensors to trigger timer blocks to open and close the doors in conjunction, and having some seats in a nearby proximity (multiple types of seats are bugged) on the bridge of my ship.
I have the same bug
