CustomTurretControler with AI-Range 0 reverts to default range

Fabian Klose shared this bug 3 years ago
Solved

If the AI-Range on a Custom Turret Controller is set to 0m, when exiting and reloading (Singleplayer) the AI-Range is RESET (EDIT: It seems the AI-Range is set to max so 800m/600m for L/SG). The terminal still shows 0m.

This does not seem to affect regular turrets with AI-Range = 0m or custom turrets with AI-Range >0m

How to Reproduce:

  1. Build and setup CustomTurret
  2. Set AI-Range to 0
  3. Place target (Hostile decoy etc.) within (default) range (<600m)
  4. Turret does NOT FIRE automatically as expected
  5. Leave game
  6. Load save
  7. Turret will FIRE at target automatically, despite AI-Range still displaying as 0m
  8. Move AI-Range slider slightly and turret will STOP FIRING and show expected behaviour until next reload.
