An error occurred while adding one or more objects, invisible blocks, etc

Greetings!

Yesterday, I went to log into the game I have been playing for a bit and got an error message. The error message was as follows: An error occurred while adding one or more objects. See log files for more details. I have attached the most recent log file and the vragerender file below.

I had been using two mods: (DX11) Eikesters Decorations and more - Part I and Vector Thrust 2 but did not have any ships using the thrust vectoring, currently. I was using some of the decorative blocks on my planetary base, though. Normally, when I start to go into my save game, it will take a number of seconds to load up the mods. Since the error began, the mod screen only flashes on and then blinks out very quickly. Then it cycles through the loading page before giving the error message.

Also, while trying to figure out what the problem is, I have been messing around with some of my other save games. With the old save games, without mods, and any new game I go into, I end up with a number of invisible blocks. I first notice that the seat inside the drop pod had disappeared. It is still there and usable but it is invisible. I have tried painting it a different color, damaging it and then repair, etc. All to no avail. Something else that is happening is that, when I go to build something, the outline of the item shows up, like normal but, as soon as I click to place the block, it will disappear. If you pull up the grinder or torch, the outline of the box will appear and the necessary parts to complete the build will appear. Sometimes, when you complete the item, it will then appear but not always. Included are two screen captures in new drops into the Learning to Survive scenario.

Sorry, I forgot to mention, I have turned it off and turned it back on again several times :P and it didn't help. I have, also, uninstalled the game and reinstalled and this did not fix the problem. It, also, did not make anything worse or better. It all stayed the same.

Hello,

I have the same problem, I'm playing on open world, I don't have any mod, and I turn it off and on my computer.

Thanks.

Best,

Update: So, after submitting the initial bug report, all of my saved games disappeared. I started playing a new Never Surrender scenario and nothing seemed to be wrong. Two days ago, there was a Steam update and, now, all of my saved games are back and the newer one has disappeared. I still cannot access the main save game that I want to. I started a new Never Surrender scenario and, at first, the pod seat was invisible and the large grid ore detector that I built later was not showing up. The following day, both are visible.

Possible problem with Steam?

I have the same Problem but i am certain, that this have to do with Eiksters Decorative blocks. I have this error Message every time i try to load a save. But when i deactivate Eiksers Deco Block everything runns fine, the

loading time is way shorter and all invisible models are visible again. I'm shure this isn't a Problem with SE but with the Mod. Best thing to do, is to Contact Eikster on the Mods Workshop Page and hope he/she would patch the Mod.

I have this same issue, but no matter what; vanilla, modded, modded but with no modded blocks (QoL mods only) there's a good chance that the Build model for any block will not be rendered at all until the block is re-requested via a complete game reload (Save, F5 to quick-reload)- then, that exact block will work normally, BUT the bug will still happen to any block after that.

It used to be that I'd get an issue where the game would not finish loading modded object models, meaning that for example a Rotary Airlock Door would always be invisible (except the moving part) until I reloaded the world, meaning ever time I wanted to play, I'd have to sit through the loading screen twice. Ever since the Automatons Beta, I get the problem as explained in my first paragraph. Makes placing certain blocks REALLY annoying, as not all blocks have conveyor ports on every face, and there's no way besides dimensions to tell what orientation they have.

Update while trying to get a screenshot of the bug: somehow, for some reason, having a fullscreen application take rendering priority (maybe???) causes it to render the unplaced blocks properly? Like, I hit PrntScr to grab a screenshot of the bug, but I saw a flash of it looking like it should- and when I exited Lightshot (screenshot program), everything is working properly. Weird???

Edit 2: Or something with tabbing out of the program entirely? Stuff just isn't being preloaded at all unless it's already in the world, or something... I went to place a Large Cargo block on my drone I'm working on, but it was invisible. Tried the trick mentioned earlier, nothing. Alt-tabbed and when I came back a minute or two later, it was rendering properly. Issue unreliably fixing itself, oh fun...
