Ships jittering/moving constantly when docked together.
Was playing in survival when I noticed that the small grid I had docked onto my large grid ship was causing the two to constantly move and jitter around. Between 0.06m/s and 0.01m/s. Was only a small pain to deal with until they suddenly launched each other forwards into an asteroid I was next to. I wish I had a clip of it, but OBS decided that today it didn't want to work.
No pistons, Rotors, or anything else that would normally cause clang issues (that I know of), both ships were very simple hydrogen ships without moving parts.
Tested: Disabling gyros on the small grid, turning off the small grid, turning off inertial dampers on the small grid when docked, docking with only the connector, docking with only the landing gears, and docking with both connector and landing gears at the same time as well.
Sorry if this is hard to read, my brain is a little fried right now lol.
I have the same bug
Hello Engineer,
Thank you for reaching out to us on our Support Forum.
We are aware of a similar issue and already have an internal ticket for it. However, to help us determine whether you are experiencing the same issue or a different one, we would appreciate it if you could provide either a vanilla (unmodded) world save or a blueprint of the grid where the issue occurs.
If possible, please also include the exact steps needed to reproduce the issue using the provided save or blueprint. A screen recording/video showing the issue occurring in the shared world save or blueprint would also be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards,
