Hello Engineer,

Thank you for providing the log file.

We checked it, but it does not contain a game crash or exception. The game appears to initialize successfully, reach the main menu, and later shut down normally.

However, we noticed that the game is configured to start in full-screen at 3840 × 2160, while the detected desktop resolution in the log is 1920 × 1080. It is possible that the monitor loses its signal when the game switches from the splash screen to the saved full-screen display mode.

Could you please try resetting the game's configuration file?

  • Close Space Engineers and Steam.
  • Open the following folder: %AppData%\SpaceEngineers
  • Locate SpaceEngineers.cfg and rename it, for example, to SpaceEngineers.cfg.old, copy-paste it to different location or delete it.
  • Start Steam and launch the game again.

The game will create a new configuration file using the currently detected display settings. This will not remove your saved worlds.

If the problem continues, please also try setting Windows temporarily to 1920 × 1080 at 60 Hz before launching the game.

If you use multiple monitors, please test the game with only the primary monitor connected.

Since the monitor reports “No Input” and the game log does not record a crash, please also check Windows Reliability Monitor or Event Viewer for any display-driver or LiveKernelEvent errors recorded at the time of the issue.

Please let us know whether resetting the configuration file changes the behavior.

Kind Regards,

Keen Software House: QA Department
