Game launch failure

Investigating

Since purchasing the latest DLC, i have not been able to launch the game from either steam or via the shortcut. I have uninstalled the game twice and downloaded succesfully, yet the game refuses to launch yet says its running on steam library. Can you provide some aid into correcting this ongoing issue.

Issue still ongoing as the reinstall has completed and once more via steam it shows as running but the game launcher does not respond nor does the window switch to the game. Task manager does not detect any instances of the game running at all.

Thank you for your message and for a recent update of the situation.

In order for us to be able to investigate this issue better, could you please share a log file from one of the affected game sessions?

You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.

the game does not want to start therefore cannot provide you with recent game session. also which specific file are you looking for under \roaming\spaceengineers

Good Morning, will there be an update for this request as the issue is still persisting rendering the game and its purchased DLC useless until fixed.

We're aware of some crashes on startup and they're already being worked on.

Unfortunately your logs cut out before the error is identified. Could you please tell us if you're receiving the pop up window after the crash prompting you to send the log? Could you please enter this specific text in the available text window: "Yan Durand"? That way we can find the log in our internal system.

no pop up windows. Steam is running, i launch the game, nothing occurs.
