No New Stations From Economy 2
Investigating
I started a new game after the econ 2 update. I have been to 5 or 6 different stations and none of them are the new stations with the services terminal. Is this normal? I haven't been able to find anything online about anyone else having trouble with this. The NPC's are there and I can get the new contracts. I can also buy the new ships. The transport contracts are even using the new bulk cargo container, but no new stations.

We believe the issue could be caused by the fact that you are using the Quick Start button, as described in this bug report. Can you please confirm if this is the case? If yes, we are planning to fix it in the next hotfix. You would still need to create a new save once it is out.
