Game Crashes when Ai Basic tries to follow a beacon

Ryan Lange shared this bug 41 days ago
Won't Fix

As the title says, this occurs when welding up a powered Off Ai basic block with behaviour turned On. This AI block is set to follow the beacon on the barge in the image, it is attached by a connector as such a sub-grid not sure if that is part of the issue. The Ai block is being built on the patrol boat second left in the image which is connected to the the main base (Static Grid). The base and patrol boat do not have any active AI move blocks and the other boat on the left is not connected.

Hello Ryan,

Thank you for reaching out to us on the forum.

Could you please let us know if the issue occurs on a modded world or server (with active MODs) and with modded blocks on the grid? If so, we kindly ask you to try reproducing the issue in a vanilla (unmodded) world/server.

Should the issue still occur there, please provide us with a screen recording/video showing the issue, along with the vanilla world save or a blueprint of the affected grid, and the log files from the session when the issue happened.

  • You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.
  • Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files or videos, you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.
  • You can access your blueprints files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Blueprints. Select the correct folder where your blueprint is saved (local or cloud), zip the file and attach it here.
  • You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.

Kind Regards,
