Unknown Signal setting not working
Need More Information
In my solo games I usually check the first 10 unknown signals, then disable them once I’ve progressed. I disable them in the game settings after reloading the save.
Currently, when I uncheck the box “Enable Unknown Signals”, click OK, and then re-enter the settings to confirm, the box is checked again. The change is not saved.:
- Go to Load game.
- Edit Settings of the game.
- Advanced settings
- Uncheck “Enable Unknown Signals”.
- Click OK to save.
- Re-open Advanced settings
I tried many time with the same result. I also tried changing other settings like "enable wolves" at the same time and check again, the "enable wolves" setting keep the new settings, but the "Enable unknown signals" always stay on

Could you please confirm if the issue you are experiencing is the same as the one discussed in this thread?

If so, could you try the workaround we shared there and check if it helps? If it is the same issue, as you may have noticed, we are already aware of it and have an internal ticket for it, which is why the thread is marked as “Reported.”
However, if your issue is different, please share a screen recording/video showing the issue, starting from the Main Menu > Load Game screen and onward. Please also provide the log file from the time when the issue occurred, so we can investigate further.
